AssetIQ is a comprehensive market intelligence resource designed to empower traders with deep-dive insights and actionable opportunities. At its core, the tool utilizes the Acuity Opportunity Score—a proprietary, AI-driven metric that synthesizes multiple datasets into a single, easy-to-interpret value for over 4,383 assets. By combining price technicals, news sentiment, and volatility metrics, AssetIQ instills confidence in traders, helping them understand the "Why" behind market movements.

1. The Acuity Opportunity Score

The Opportunity Score is the flagship feature of AssetIQ. It provides a definitive assessment of an instrument's strength relative to its peers in the same sector or group.

Scoring Methodology

The score is generated through the AI-driven analysis of four key indicators:

  1. Price Trend (Momentum): Based on a calculation using multiple Exponential Moving Average (EMA) crossings and price comparisons.

  2. News Sentiment: The ratio of financially positive versus financially negative news articles detected by our NLP engine.

  3. Price Volatility: Calculated by comparing current price movement against the historical average using an Average True Range (ATR) based logic.

  4. News Volume Change: Measured by the Relative Change of Volume (RCV). A high RCV indicates an instrument is receiving unusually high news coverage.

Calculation Logic

  • The Weighting: Price Trend and News Sentiment are the primary indicators.

  • The Multipliers: A spike in News Volume increases the significance of Sentiment, while higher Volatility increases the weighting of the Price Trend.

  • The Ranking: Every asset is ranked against its sector (e.g., Technology) or group (e.g., Metals), providing context on how a specific opportunity compares to its peers.

AssetIQ is designed to be a "one-stop-shop" for instrument research, organized into logical modules.

Instrument Intro & Overview

  • Asset Identity: Displays the sector, group, and unique ISIN identifier.

  • Fundamental Data: For equities, this includes P/E Ratios and Dividend Yields compared to sector averages, helping traders identify overvalued or undervalued stocks.

  • Technical Levels: Provides Pivot Points, Support, and Resistance values for all asset classes.

 

Interactive Charting

The AssetIQ chart is an advanced visualization tool that correlates price with sentiment:

  • Sentiment Overlay: The default view features a line chart for price and an area chart for sentiment, highlighting correlations and divergences.

  • Event Plotting: * Calendar Events: Automatically plots past Earnings (stocks) or High Volatility events (macro) on the chart to visualize historical price reactions.

    • Upcoming Events: View the potential price range for next week's events and add them directly to your virtual calendar.

    • News Articles: Significant news stories are plotted directly on the timeline to gauge market reactions to specific headlines.

    • Market Alerts: Sentiment-driven signals that predict the potential duration of a price trend.

Summary & Associated Assets

  • The Summary Panel: An expansion of the Opportunity Score, providing the "i" (information) icons that explain exactly how the four components are currently weighting the score.

  • Associated Assets: Displays instruments frequently mentioned in news articles alongside the selected asset. This helps traders discover correlated opportunities (e.g., seeing how NVIDIA is being mentioned alongside AI-adjacent stocks).

AssetIQ provides global coverage updated in real-time or near-real-time to ensure traders are never acting on stale data.
