To enable Calendar Events subscription in the existing Telegram/Discord channel, click on the Account button at the top right and select Messengers on the panel on the left.
This will bring you to the Messengers Channels page.
From there, select the desired Telegram/Discord channel.
Select the channel you would like to add Calendar Events to, click "Manage" next to the "Calendar Events subscription"
From here, you will be able to configure the behaviour of AnalysisIQ Bot, select the language, event impact, frequency of updates and set a schedule for the Events to be sent to your channel.
1. Languages - only one language can be selected per channel.
2. Economic Events - "Low/Medium/High Impact and greater" can be selected, allowing you to select the minimum impact level of events that are posted to the channel. For example, if "Medium Impact and greater" option is selected, only Medium and High Impact events will be published to the channel.
3. Schedule Type - Daily or Weekly.
Select whether you would like the messages to be posted Daily or Weekly, then select day of the week and time you would like the Events to be published. Please note that the time is in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
Selecting the "Daily" Schedule will send Events for the next 24 hours starting from the selected time.
Multiple days can be selected from Monday to Friday.
Selecting the "Weekly" Schedule will send Events for the next week from the selected time.
Only one day can be selected.
4. Asset Watchlist - a Watchlist can be added to the settings, which will allow for the instrument names to be displayed under each event in the "What instruments will be affected?" section.
Please see Watchlist Creation for more information on how to create and manage Watchlists.
5. Button title / Button link
Allows the configuration of the CTA buttons. Button Title allows the naming of the CTA button, Button Link allows you to set the URL it would take users to when clicked.
Example can be seen below:
6. Disclaimer - a short disclaimer can be used at the end of each message. It is not recommended to add a lengthy disclaimer, as it will contribute towards the length of each post.
A short message, such as "All Trading Involves Risk" is generally recommended.
