How to download cTrader Plugins
The Expert Advisors can be downloaded via a direct URL that will be shared with you by your broker.
Download using a direct URL
The URL will be shared with you by the broker (via an email or a landing page) and will be of the following formats:

Installing the plugins
- Before installation, please check that your cTrader account is connected to the correct server. The server has to be added to Platform Servers in the Acuity Dashboard ( https://dashboard.acuitytrading.com/main/account/platforms-servers )
- The server you are currently connected to can be checked at top-right of the cTrader terminal:
- Double click on the .algo file (downloaded from the previous step). Each .algo file will correspond to a separate widget.
- Upon successful installation of the plugin, you will see a message pop up in the top-right of your screen:
- Plugins can be viewed by clicking on a jigsaw icon at the top left:
- Widgets can be viewed in the panel on the right and expanded:
If any errors arise during these steps, take a look at the Troubleshooting section for possible solutions. Alternatively, please contact the Acuity / Signal Centre team at support@acuitytrading.com
Removing and deactivating plugins
To remove or deactivate plugins, navigate to the plugins window, from there you can deactivate or delete individual plugins:
Troubleshooting common problems
The server you are trying to access in not in the allowed list
Possible reason: The server you are trying to access has not been whitelisted to be used with Acuity Widgets tools.
Resolution steps:
- Check if the plugins you have downloaded are from the provider/broker as the server you are on.
- If the server is correct, please reach out to support your brokerage (traders) or Acuity Trading at support@acuitytrading.com (for brokers).
If the problem persists, please contact Acuity/Signal Centre or your broker’s customer support team for additional troubleshooting.
Alternatively, after installing the plugin, you might see an error message "Please input your API key" appears
